Unboundary refers to the space that is redefined to engage public agents and locality to improve the quality of life and plays an important role in the public realm. In general, a building is the mass boundary that filters people. There are many public buildings that create an intangible boundary for people from different social classes, for example, shopping malls. Unboundary will be the name of the project to unbound people from different classes with its design.
The Unboundary uses porosity circulation as a concept to develop the space. Porosity circulation combines with a theory of community watching, making a space safer by letting the community take care of their own people. At the same time, outsiders can absorb the culture from a community. According to the site study, the approach emphasizes on the building. Yellow color represents the community sharing space, which is opposite the community.
The grey color represents the interaction space performs as the platform to bound people from both sides. Red color represents the sharing space, which is the facade opposite Sukhumvit road that binds people on the street in public life. The context usage forms a design inside the building by following 3 different grids. A strategy of the place programming in each area was from the intention to serve people from different backgrounds and even bound them together.
