Saiyud House is a 25-year-old townhouse renovation project located near BTS Saiyud. The original condition of the building was very deteriorated due to a long time abandonment. In the beginning process of work, Too Architects focus on building aesthetic, space utilization and cost-effectiveness to be the key of design and construction.
It starts by analyzing the original condition of the house where the original reinforced concrete structure of the building is still in good condition. But the electrical and sanitary systems had to be completely dismantled and reinstalled. Our construction team started the work by demolishing some walls, electrical and sanitary systems of the building. Then we start to do the construction phase.
Designer team increased the floor to ceiling height in the master bedroom and expanded the large window openings to add airiness and ventilation into space to suit relaxation. Including adjusting the ground floor area which is the living room and dining area by a large sliding glass door to let natural light into the space.
After a major renovation, this 25-year-old townhouse has become a warm, airy and comfortable place with a size of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and living area suitable for a small family with 3 people. It also meets the needs in terms of aesthetic, space utilization and cost-effectiveness.
