"Mana Hostel seamlessly integrates hand-crafted wooden elements with the historical essence of a renovated building in Yaowarat, creating a warm and inviting stay experience."
Mana Hostel is a captivating renovation project situated in the vibrant district of Yaowarat, Bangkok. Designed to celebrate its historic roots, the building preserves its old-world charm while introducing a crafted interior aesthetic. The owner, a skilled carpenter, has infused the space with bespoke wooden furniture and details, creating a unique blend of craftsmanship and hospitality.
The ground and mezzanine levels house a café and restaurant (designed independently of this project). The second floor transforms into an open exhibition space, serving as a versatile public area ideal for events. The third and fourth floors are dedicated to the hostel’s accommodations, providing guests with a cozy and welcoming retreat.
Each detail is thoughtfully curated to reflect the warmth of woodwork and the essence of the original structure. By seamlessly blending comfort with tradition, Mana Hostel becomes a distinctive destination that offers not only a place to stay but also an experience that celebrates history and craftsmanship.
