" Stylish mixed-use architectural design seamlessly combines shop rental spaces with residential living, creating a dynamic and versatile environment that caters to both commercial and residential needs. "

Granny Smith is an architectural design for a mixed-use project that includes rental space for shops and the owner's residence. The project is located in the middle of the city in Ayutthaya province. The owner intends to create a small community mall in the old town area through the uniqueness of outstanding architecture but still able to coexist with the old town context.

The building is two stories tall. It consists of 6 rental shops of 18 square meters, 1 shop of 30 square meters, which is the owner's shop and the owner's residence. Too Architects focuses on using curved lines to create a uniqueness to the building and pays attention to every shop so that people can easily see every shop from the street level.

The building uses a single-load corridor layout for convenient access to all shops and helps in saving energy in common areas that do not require air conditioning systems and keep indoor air flowing throughout the day. Bright colors and lightness of the structure gives the building its uniqueness as a small community for young people. It also has harmony which also respects the context of being an old world heritage site like Ayutthaya.
